Thanks and may God Bless Tom PolleyPeople tend to shy away from being pegged to a certain style of music, but the way I see it, I play and sing how God intended for me to do so. That being said, I guess you could say I'm a little bit folk-rocker, a little contemporary, a little something else............ My influences are Caedmons Call, Jars of Clay, The Normals, and Switchfoot to name a few. I currently live in Dover-Foxcroft where I lead worship for Calvary Chapel Maine Highlands. Playing at the coffeehouse has exposed me to success and not-so-success depending on what night you show up. I do keep this in mind, though.....That my weakness is Gods strength. I wouldn' want it any other way. ![]() Tom Polley I have been singing since I was about 10, and playing guitar since 14. I think the most exciting thing for me is when I start a song and strain to make things fit and rhyme....Usually I have to stop after the first chorus. And then, days, weeks, even months later, I'll sit down with it again and God will write the second half of the song for me in minutes...It's really humbling sometimes! My first album, Feet Faced North can be found at Lambs' in Bangor and a few other merchants in the Dover-Foxcroft area. Please check out my myspace music site for concert dates and pics. God bless all of you who support my ministry. See you at the coffeehouse! For more information you can visit: http://www.myspace.com/tompolley Douglas J. Moore

Tre is Italian for three, with three being a pretty significant number in many ways (the Trinity, Jesus was 30 when He started His ministry, 33 when he went to the cross, music is made up of thirds, etc.). Tre chose their name for a couple of reasons: one, three by itself would probably be a pretty boring name (haha), and two, one of the members of the band, Andrew, was taking Italian and suggested Tre, and all the members agreed that it sounded good and was simple to remember. Tre's style of music is tough to pin down, as they are mainly Alternative Rock, but often dabble with jazz, blues, heavy rock, unplugged acoustic sets, etc. Tre's style is unique, and quite diverse. You'll simply have to see Tre live at the cafe one of these nights to understand!
